Volunteer Opportunities with The Sacred Portion Children's Outreach

There are so many ways to get involved with our ministry, and we’re always excited to welcome new volunteers! Most opportunities happen in and around Bozeman, but we’d love to connect with you wherever you’re located—whether that’s in Montana, somewhere else in the U.S., or internationally. Community & Ministry Connectors

Relationships drive impact. As someone active in a local church, organization, or community group, you help our adoption ministry reach farther by connecting us with pregnancy centers, local grants, churches, and other organizations across the state. Every introduction spreads awareness, educates communities, and strengthens support for families and children. Your connections make a real difference in helping our ministry grow and share the message of adoption!

Adoptive & Foster Care Family Support Groups

We love creating spaces for adoptive and foster families to find encouragement and community—both in person and online. These groups exist to support families who have courageously chosen to parent children from hard places. If you’d like to be part of a group, we’d be thrilled to welcome you—just reach out! We also value partnering with professionals who can help train and equip families as they walk through this meaningful (and often challenging) journey, please contact us if you would like to volunteer your services!

International Mission Trips: Philippines

We take teams to our partner orphanage, Rehoboth Children’s Home in the Philippines, to serve through hands-on projects and to love and encourage the children and staff. These trips are a meaningful opportunity to build relationships and support the daily work of the home. Teams typically travel in March. If you, your family, or your church are interested in joining a future trip, we’d love to connect and share more details!

Ministry Events & Fundraisers

Looking for a meaningful way to get involved at different points throughout the year? We’d love to have you join us for our ministry events and fundraisers! These opportunities are perfect for outgoing people who want to help connect our ministry with the community. Whether you enjoy decorating, getting businesses to sponsor, inviting attendees, or speaking at events, we’d be thrilled to connect with you and make an impact together!

Becoming a Board Member

If you have a heart for adoption and desire to play a deeper role in our ministry, we would love to have you prayerfully consider joining our Board of Directors! We’re currently welcoming new members! Board members help shape the vision and future of our organization, provide guidance and leadership, and stay actively involved in our events. As many of you know, engaging in ministry is hard and you so often deal with the schemes of the enemy, which is why we want to invite you to cover each chapter that is being written through our agency in prayer. We welcome you to join our “Hope Connectors” group. This is a brand new partnership that we are starting with people who want to commit to praying over the many stories and chapters that we see at our agency. The Sacred Portion Children’s Outreach invites you to give your “sacred portion”! Each gift is a valued part of the work God is doing through our ministry.
